Miss Penny Adams Bio

Richard "Roach" Mercer, Biker Republic charter memberMy first experience with riding occurred when I was about eight years old and my cousins got mini bikes for Christmas. We rode those things into the ground for the next couple of years. After I was married and had ridden on the back of my husband bikes for a few years, I decided to ride on my own and got my first bike, a 1982 FXR Lowrider. About three years ago, my husband, a good friend Tex, and I built a custom trike - from scratch. It took us about six months of working every Sunday on it, but we finally got it on the road about two and a half years ago.

Fighting for bikers' rights is a passion for me. I believe we must fight to regain the liberties that have been taken from us and we must remain ever vigilant so that we do not lose any more. I have held positions in several MROs. My husband and I began a chapter in ABATE of Virginia in our area and led it for a couple of years before working with others to form the Virginia Freedom Riders (VFR). I remain the Legislative Officer for the VFR and a member of ABATE of Virginia, as well as many other MROs across the country.

Working with the Biker Republic to insure we remain vigilant on a national level is important for all bikers, and when I was offered the opportunity I jumped at the chance. I hope that you will take advantage of this website and the lists to share information and knowledge. Armed with that and determination, we can accomplish our dream of being free Americans with our liberties restored.
