I am disappointed and disgusted with what has transpired in Shreveport, LA. This is equivalent to having blacks step to the back of the bus and taking years of hard work and loss of lives for freedom and equality. This article darn right scares me as a citizen and past peace officer. I will not be traveling through Shreveport at any time with such abusive archiac behavior by the law enforcement and governing bodies. Talk about your typical steriotype of Lousiana, this just sets it in stone.
It's an embarassment and crime and the police deparment, governor and people that back this type of behavior should be ashamed of themselves and issue an apology to not only Robert Baillio, but to every citizen of this great country.
Profiling is illegal and unethical. It does not matter where you work, it is a crime to illegally take away rights and target specific individuals due to race, religious beliefs, or their bumper stickers!
